Tow Truck Finance across Australia
Tilt trays, flatbeds and recovery trucks for towing and roadside operators. Lenders who know the trade can structure repayments around your call-out and contract work.
We are a finance broker, not a lender. One application goes to a panel of more than 40 lenders, so you get the structure and rate that actually fit your business. Find your city below, or talk to a broker now.
What gets financed. Tilt trays, flatbeds, wreckers and recovery units. The body and the chassis can be funded together on one facility, which matters because a cab chassis plus a fitted body from two suppliers is otherwise two conversations.
New or used. Used tow trucks are financed routinely. Where the body has been transferred or refitted, lenders want to see the compliance and engineering paperwork, so have it ready.
What moves your rate. Time in business carries weight here because the truck is the business. Operators with an established ABN and a contract or two behind them price better.
As a general rule, where the facility is backed by property you should expect 6% to 9% p.a. Without property security, expect 9% to 13% p.a. That gap is the single biggest lever you control: if you own property and are willing to use it, the same purchase gets materially cheaper.
These are indicative ranges for business finance, not an offer. Your actual rate depends on the deal and is subject to credit approval.
Deposit. You can put a deposit down, or we can fund the full invoice. Both are available, so a deposit is a choice about cashflow rather than a barrier to getting approved.
New or used. Both are funded. Used equipment is normal in this market and does not need a different conversation.
Speed. Approvals come back as fast as 24 hours on straightforward deals.

How much can I borrow for tow truck finance?
Up to $500,000 on most equipment finance. Your limit depends on your asset-backing, time in business and the asset itself, and property-backed borrowers can often go higher.
Do I need a deposit for tow truck finance?
Often no. Many tow truck finance deals settle with no deposit, depending on your profile and the asset, and low-doc and no-doc options are available.
How fast can tow truck finance be approved?
Most deals are approved within 24 to 48 hours once we have your details, with settlement shortly after.
Can I get tow truck finance with ATO debt or past credit issues?
Often yes. We work with lenders that consider ATO debt, thin files and past credit issues, where the banks say no. This is general information only, not a quote.
